God will work it. He will turn all of our problems around for our benefit and our good.
Romans 8:28 declares:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
This text illustrates that there is nothing God will not do to support His people in overcoming the obstacles, hardships, and difficulties of life. Paul states that “all things work together for good to them that love God.”
The phrase “all things” comes from the Greek word pas, meaning every, all, everything, whole, any. In other words, nothing is excluded. No problem is too big, too complex, or too overwhelming for God. Whatever stands before God’s people, God stands preeminent, superior and above it all. Nothing is impossible for Him to resolve.
The word “good” comes from the Greek word agathos, meaning benefit, goodness, wellbeing. God is able to take our unfathomable, unfavorable, and unfortunate circumstances and cause them to benefit our lives and improve our spiritual wellbeing. He weaves every experience together for our growth, maturity, and ultimate blessing. That is the favor of God at work.
However, this promise is qualified. It applies to those who:
Love God, and
Are called according to His purpose.
When these conditions are present, access to God’s providential power becomes active in our lives. Nothing can ultimately block God’s purpose from unfolding for His faithful people. No setback, no delay, no hardship can prevent God from accomplishing good in us and through us.
Therefore, we can have confidence, peace, and spiritual courage knowing that God will work it out. As Tye Tribbett reminds us in his hit song “Work It Out”:
“Doesn’t matter what the problems are. God will work it out. Any type of situation, He will work it out. Trust me, He’s got all power. God will work it out.”
GOD WILL WORK IT OUT!!!
